Dai

Government Official

Our retired hero, Dai, dusted off his cape to join us as our liaison with the foreign affairs, ensuring we have all the crucial documents necessary for our mission. With his return from retirement, he's a very important member of the team, allowing us to do what we do best.

We support local

We’re all about supporting local communities in every possible way, making sure that our adventures bring direct benefits to the incredible people we meet and the places we explore 🙏🏻

a few words from jane

Xin Chao! Hello from Vietnam… my country that I’m so proud of. OH! Sorry my names Jane… or Nguyen Thi Duyen (just call me Jane). So here’s a little about me… I’m originally from Hanoi, in a small village where they still announce the local news over speakers at 5am in  the morning. You can visit yourself if you arrive a day early with the ‘Secret Handicraft Villages of Hanoi’ optional add on. My first sales pitch complete haha!

I’ve worked for a few different group tour companies and been a freelance tour guide for many different people during my 12 years of working in tourism. Time flys when you’re having fun! That’s the problem with having such an incredible job.

I knew the time would come where I’d be ready to  do something by myself and be in control of where I take my travelers and who I can give back to that I think needs it the most. It happened and in November 2022 we launched Way To Travel.

JANE'S OTHER JOB

GRAVITY WATER 💦

That’s right… She's a busy girl! Tourism isn’t the only industry she works in. Jane is also the National director of a Non-Profit organization called Gravity Water, which was founded in the US. Jane didn’t find this role… it found her and it’s a massive part of her life. Gravity Water kind of does what it says on the tin… they turn rain water into safe drinking water for schools in rural areas around the world, including Vietnam. Before Gravity Water find these schools and support them, they’re collecting water from far away springs or rivers.

How could Way To Travel not give back and support an organisation that we believe in and love so much? We couldn’t… That’s why $20 of every booking is donated to Gravity Water. By the way… $8 is said to give 1 child access to clean drinking water.
